- Learn how the yogi’s divided the body into 3 parts according to the Gunas, (sattvic, rajasic, and tamasic) and how they developed practices to create lightness in the body/mind
- Learn the areas of the body and their functions related to each of the gunas
- Practice specific yogic exercises for increasing the sattvic energy and reducing the effect of tamas in the tamasic area of the body
- Learn and understand how different yoga practices can help reduce imbalances in the different parts of the body related to the gunas.
