"Exploring Social Media Strategy & Measurement"

It’s easy to sign up for – and post on – social media sites. But your long-term public relations success depends on how well you develop strategy, set goals and consistently engage your key audiences.

A panel of top social media experts will discuss how—at the Publicity Club of Chicago’s first member luncheon of the 2009-10 year.


  • Daniel Honigman, digital communications supervisor at Weber Shandwick, where he works with clients such as Campbell Soup Co. Previously, he was lead social media strategist at Tribune Interactive for all Tribune Co. newspapers and broadcast stations, credited for developing the Chicago Tribune’s widely embraced social media presence “Colonel Tribune.”
  • Heidi Sullivan, director of media research for Cision. She oversees research of print, Internet, broadcast and social media, and is host of Cision’s Social Media Webinar series.
  • Charles Falls, president of Demi & Cooper Advertising and DC Interactive Group in Elgin. He has developed successful web marketing programs for clients, and helped one client receive local and national publicity for a Twittered surgery.


  • Raschanda L. Hall, global media relations manager at Business Wire, who has extensive personal and professional experience with social media.

"Late" registration applies after 5 pm on Friday before the event.

We cannot process online registration after 3 pm the day before the event. Walk-Ins (pay at the door) are welcome at these rates:

$50 (members)
$60 (non-members)
$35 (students)


Only PCC members in good standing should register at the "member" rate. Non-members who register at the member rate will be billed for the difference.


Cancellation policy: if you need to cancel your reservation, you must call the PCC office by 12:00 noon on the Monday preceding the program; otherwise an invoice in the amount of your registration fee for the event (as applicable) will be sent to you.
