BWA World Congress and Hawai'i Tour

Detailed Travel plans:

July20 - Fly from Kansas City or St. Louis to Kona, Hawaii - The Big Island.Enjoy three nights on the "Big" island of Hawaii. 

July 21 -- Today enjoy anexclusive Grand Circle Island Tour which includes the VolcanoNational Park and Hilo and the beautiful Rainbow Falls. It also includesthe famous Parker Ranch. This would be an all day tour and I do mean ALLDAY.  Lunch on own at one of the great stops.

July 22 - a free day toexplore the Island, go to Kona or relax at the hotel.

.July 23 - Fly toKauai - we will stay 4 nights on this island known as the Garden Island.  

July 24 - Group tour to seeWaimeaCanyon & take the Wailua River Cruise to the Fern Grotto.  Thisis an all day tour. 

July25-- a free day for your own Island exploration or beach relaxation.

July26 -- another day to relax on the beach, snorkel or explore the paradisecalled Kauai. Tonight the group will enjoy an included Luau includingdrinks and native Hawaiian food.

July27 - Fly to Honolulu and stay in a moderate hotel easily accessible to theHawaii Convention Center.  Use the time to plan your own sightseeingaround Honolulu.

July 28 - This morning the group will go on the Pearl Harbor / ArizonaMemorial/ City Tour  which includes the museum and the boat trip outto the Arizona.  Also included in the City Tour is a visit toPunchbowl Crater, Iolani Palace, the State Capitol, Kawaiahao Church andMission Homes and see King Kamehameha Statue.  

TheBWA World Congress begins this evening at the nearby Hawaii ConventionCenter.  (Thosenot going to the convention will return home this evening.)

July29- Continue withCongress activities in Honolulu. The 20th Baptist World Congress in Hawaii is an opportunity for Baptists from all over the world to join together for a life-transforming time as collectively we listen to the Spirit of God. The BWA represents a community of 105 million Baptists in more than 200 conventions and unions from more than 100 countries. Hawaii is the ideal venue for such a meeting as the trade winds remind us that God’s path is like that of the wind – it may be traced but never predicted. It will be exciting to see what new thing God will do among us through the movement of his Spirit! 

July30- Continue withCongress activitiesin Honolulu.

July31- Continue withCongress activitiesin Honolulu.

August1 -- The BWA World Congress concludes with a Bible study andworship.  The group will have transportation to the airport anddepart for home.

The Hawaii Tour and BWACongress travel packageincludes:

  • Accommodation in three-star, superior tourist class and four-star minimum first class hotels.
