CAUHF Foxhunt

The CAUHF Group will hold our monthly fox hunt on Saturday 13 June!  This is our 4th monthly fox hunt and we have had lots of fun with them in the past!

Like all CAUHF activities (including regular quarterly eating meetings, board meetings, field day, and all special events) our fox hunts are open to every one regardless of your club affiliation!  Everyone is invited!

The Fox hunt will begin at 9:00 A.M. local time.

We will have a net at 8:30 where we will announce if the fox will be on the north or south side of the Arkansas River.  If you plan to participate, we ask that you check in to the net.  The fox will be sitting in a parking lot
of a local restaurant where we will eat lunch.

The rules are pretty simple:

  1. The fox will be at a restaurant within Pulaski county.
  2. The fox will be transmitting on 448.200Mhz.
  3. He/she will transmit for 2 minutes then be silent for 5.
  4. At 10:00, he/she will start transmitting for 2 minutes and be silent for 2.
  5. At 10:30 he/she will start giving clues as to where they are.
  6. Finally at 10:45 he/she will announce where we will have lunch.
  7. The winner gets lunch courtesy of CAUHF!

If you can't make it to the fox hunt, but want to listen to the fun, you can listen on either 443.200 or 145.49.

We hope to see YOU there.
