Rob Cameron

Cameron Partners - Principal Partner

Rob established Cameron Partners in 1995. With more than 20 years experience, he is recognised as one of New Zealand’s most experienced and skilled investment bankers.

Rob has led many of New Zealand’s high-profile transactions and advisory mandates including advising the independent Directors of Carter Holt Harvey in relation to the takeover offer from Rank Group Limited, advisor to Fletcher Challenge Forests on the sale of forest assets and Wrightson on a range of initiatives including the sale of Wrightson Farmers Finance. In 2001 Rob was appointed leader in the Crown negotiating team to resolve regulatory and commercial issues in relation to a proposed recapitalisation of Air New Zealand. Subsequently, with his colleague Murdo Beattie, he co-led the negotiations on behalf of the Crown which led to the restructuring and recapitalisation of Air New Zealand. Previously Rob has led teams advising Bell Atlantic and Ameritech on the acquisition of Telecom New Zealand, and managing the public float of Telecom New Zealand.

He has a BCA in Economics with First Class Honours from Victoria University and an MPA (Finance & Economics) from Harvard University. He is a Harkness Fellow, a Hunter Fellow of Victoria University, Chairman of the New Zealand Institute for the Study of Competition and Regulation, a member of the Board of Trustees of Special Olympics New Zealand and a member of the Advisory Board for the Victoria University School of Government.

In mid 2008 Rob was appointed chairman of the Capital Markets Development Taskforce established to develop and launch a blueprint to improve New Zealand’s financial system for the benefit of the New Zealand economy and it’s businesses. He also chaired the Firm Funding Stream of the Prime Minister’s Job Summit held in February.

Scott Delzoppo

Foster’s Group - Sustainability Manager

Scott is a corporate affairs professional who has worked on a number of industry leading programs in the area of corporate social responsibility and sustainability. Scott worked from the mid 90’s until 2004 on Telstra’s community involvement programs. In 2004, Scott was appointed Foster’s Community Relations Manager, introducing ‘Foster’s in the Community’ to Foster’s global work and marketplaces. Scott has managed Foster’s corporate social responsibility matters since 2006 and has subsequently been appointed Group Sustainability Manager. Scott launched Foster’s first annual Sustainability Report in 2006, bringing together the company’s environmental and social information within a consistent sustainability strategy document. Scott is an active member on a number of CSR Advisory Groups, and is on the Aus/NZ Steering Committee of the London Benchmarking Group for community investment.


Heather Le Roy
The Smith Family - General Manager Victoria
Heather was General Manager for the Global Foundation, and prior to that she held the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Education Foundation Australia for six years. Previously Heather spent nine years with the Cancer Councils in NSW and Victoria.
