“Economy Update – How Will the Stimulus Affect You?”
Proposed Speaker – Dr. Gilbert Yochum, ODU
Back by popular demand, Dr. Yochum will speak on the recent changes in the economy with a forecast of what to expect as Treasurers, as companies struggle to stay afloat. The presentation will be for 50 minutes, not including questions.
Ms. Ouchterloney will present a fresh look at Accounts Payables as companies struggle to minimize costs associated with paying invoices. The presentation will be 50 minutes, not including questions. Our speaker will also be available at the Panel Discussion for more details on the presentation as well as additional questions.
Mr. Robinson will speak on the new rules regarding International ACH codes, and other updates on the world of ACH versus the issuance of checks. The presentation is scheduled for 50 minutes, and Mr. Robinson will join the Panel Discussion following the sessions for questions and practical advice.
“Risk Mapping for Corporations”
Ms. Guzman will speak on the risks that companies and corporations must consider with emphasis on proper insurance coverage as well as ways to eliminate risk. The presentation is scheduled for 50 minutes. Ms. Guzman will join the Panel Discussion following the sessions for questions and practical advice.
Session speakers will be available for questions and further practical tips on the sessions presented.
Guest Speakers’ Biographical Information
Dr. Gilbert Yochum, Professor of Economics
Old Dominion University, Norfolk VA
Professor Yochum received his Ph.D. from West Virginia University and is a Professor of Economics, University Professor and Director of the Old Dominion University Economic Forecasting Project at Old Dominion University. Professor Yochum was chairman of the Old Dominion University economics department from 1990 to 2000. He currently serves as a member of the Governor’s Advisory Board of Economists for the state of Virginia. Dr. Yochum has been an economic consultant to over 50 companies and government agencies and has provided professional testimony before both federal and state government commissions. He is author or co-author of more than 80 professional journal publications and research monographs. In addition to citations in professional journals, Professor Yochum’s work has been cited publicly in more than 130 newspaper, magazine and wire reports throughout the U.S. including the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, the Dow Jones newswire, Associated Press and USA Today.
Norman Robinson, President
East Pay, Richmond VA
Norman is President of EastPay, one of NACHA’s regional automated clearing house associations supporting over 800 financial institutions and corporations in VA, WV, NC, and FL. Prior to joining EastPay in 1979 Norman worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. From 79 – 96 Norman was concurrently a VP for the Virginia Bankers Association.
Norman currently is serving his third two-year term on the NACHA Board of Directors and is on the Steering Committee of NACHA’s Council for Electronic Billing and Payment. Norman also chairs the NACHA Product Group working on redesigning and automating the Written Statement Under Penalty of Perjury.
Norman holds a BS in Business Management from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management. Norman also holds both the AAP and CTP certifications.

Susan Ouchterloney, VP – Card Solutions Specialist
Bank of America
Susan is a Vice President – Card Solutions Specialist for Bank of America. She is responsible for account acquisition and delivery of commercial card products and comprehensive payables solutions for the Bank.
Susan joined Bank of America in 2005 and has more than 20 years of sales experience. Prior to her joining Bank of America, Susan worked in the commercial card divisions of Wright Express FSC and Citicorp Diners Club.
Susan holds a bachelor’s degree from Rockford College in Rockford, Illinois. She received her CTP designation from the AFP in 2006. Susan also has her Certified Purchasing Card Professional (CPCP) designation.
