VoIP for Call Takers Part 2: How VoIP Works (Rerun 2)

Voice over IP presents unique and special challenges to emergency services call takers from 000 to 911 and everyone in between. This very focused one hour web seminar (webinar) will provide the specialized background needed for call takers and supervisors to understand the way in which VoIP changes the way that calls arrive in their head sets and the fundamental impact it can have on emergency call taking. This preparatory webinar is strongly recommended for Parts 3 and 4 of this series. Part 1: How Traditional Voice Works is strongly recommended as a prerequisite for this training class.
