STRAND 3 - AT in the Community - Envision the Possibilities 2009

We are looking for creative, innovative applications of assistive technology in our community that work to promote the education, empowerment or inclusion of persons with disabilities in all aspects of life. Apply here to share your experience, expertise or best practices in the use of assisitive technology devices, software, materials and/or strategies.

This strand, AT in the Community, will include the following topics: parenting and family life, work, transition, home accessibility, leisure activities and clubs, vocational rehabilitation, vision services, deaf and hard of hearing services, social networking and similar topics. Please register by choosing the appropriate session format/length for your proposal above.

All submissions must include a curriculum vita emailed to . The submission will be reviewed by committee. Successful applicants will be notified by email on or before March 27, 2009.
