Monthly Lunch Program - Sept. 2008

Behind the Scenes at '190 North'

Audiences turn to “190 North” on ABC 7 Chicago for the latest on new restaurants, vogue shopping boutiques, the hottest fashion trends, and a sneak peek at major theatrical performances coming to town.

It’s a PR professional’s dream placement for their clients, but how do those segments get chosen? What does it take to get the show to profile a particular topic or product?

Publicity Club of Chicago will kick off its 2008-09 luncheon series on Wednesday, September 10, with a special, behind-the-scenes look at “190 North.” Dive into a great discussion with its host and two producers to discover how they select their stories and develop their sources.

  • Janet Davies, 190 North Host/Executive Producer and Entertainment Reporter for ABC 7 News
  • Holly Grisham, Senior Program Producer, 190 North
  • Rubye Wilson, Program Producer, 190 North
