The term Web 2.0 refers to a new way of utilizing the internet, moving from a read-only model of communication to a dialogue. The development and evolution of web-based communities and hosted services — social-networking sites, wikis, blogs, etc. — facilitates creativity, information sharing, and collaboration among users. This workshop will provide an overview of the collection of tools being used to connect people who share interests and activities.
