Promoting Services without Selling Them:
Most veterinarians understand the need for marketing but there is still some hesitancy with the notion of being considered a salesperson rather than a medical professional. Learn the ropes to becoming a client’s trusted advocate as well as a source of reliable products and services.

Getting Clients to Say “Yes” to Recommended Services:
It might seem natural to assume that clients don’t follow veterinary recommendations because of the costs involved, but this is actually only a very small part of the psychology of client interactions. We’ll explore some of the important concepts involved in effective client communications that can prove very helpful (and profitable) for veterinary practices.

Getting Paid for Services Rendered:
Veterinary medicine is also veterinary business and it is not enough just to provide excellent service, but to receive prompt payment for this exemplary service. In fact, even the very best client service and excellent medical care will lead to practice failure if they don’t result in commensurate revenues. Accordingly, getting paid for the services you offer is every bit as important as the quality of client service and medical care that you provide.

Practice Web Sites: Getting Noticed on the “Net”:
Many veterinary practices now have web sites, but most are not pulling their weight as practice marketing tools. We’ll explore the most important aspects of web sites, in terms of increasing exposure on search engines, improving link quotients, and effectively using the web site to educate existing clients, and attract other pet owners to the practice.

Tips for the Successful Diagnosis and Management of Allergies:
A review of this common hypersensitivity disorder with new information on diagnostic testing and therapeutic options. Don’t be confused by marketing hype - diagnosing and treating allergic dogs and cats has never been easier, or safer.

Battling Stubborn Ear Infections... and Winning!:
There are few things more frustrating than dealing with chronic otitis externa/media. This lecture will help you greatly increase your odds of winning the battle of the ears, keeping them under control, and making those tough decisions about when surgery is indicated. Follow these rules of engagement to come out on top of the situation.
