UX Bookclub London - 18 June 09 - Designing Gestural Interfaces

Designing Gestural InterfacesJoin us at the June London UX Bookclub where we'll be discussing Dan Saffer's 'Designing Gestural Interfaces'.

Dan will be in town for UX London but is unfortunately not able to attend, but we will try to corner him for some questions and a quick video interview that we can play on the night - as you read the book, tweet any questions with the hashtag #uxbcldn and we'll put them to Dan (non-Tweeters are more than welcome to email questions instead).

It promises to be a very busy UX week, with UX London and the IA Mini (alpha and beta!) both in session, but the UX spirits will be high and this is the event where *everyone* can have say, so do come along!

O'Reilly, the publishers of the book, have kindly offered us a total of 20 free copies of this book. If you'd like to be in the running to receive a FREE copy, you need to have successfully registered for a bookclub ticket, then email me (leisa.reichelt@gmail.com) and tell me the most inspiration thing you've read recently that is UX related (can be book, blog, tweet, anything) and if you're in the first 10 for this bookclub, you'll get a free book. Yay!

I'll then aggregate all your inspired readings and share them with the world via the bookclub group on Google (and probably repost on my blog if that's ok with you - feel free to do the same if you have a blog).

Disclaimer: I don't have the books with me yet and I'm relying on O'Reilly's to deliver them to me in a timely fashion if you need your book superfast, you'd better no rely on a freebie

Thanks to our hosts, IG Index, for once again offering the venue and a Nintendo Wii for us to pay with!

Righty ho. That's it I think.

Happy reading and I look forward to seeing you at BookClub!

(note: this is one of two bookclub events, the other is being held on 15 June, details here)
