To help you maximize your networking opportunities, a series of small group (8 people) networking dinners will take place immediately following the Wednesday and Thursday Networking Receptions. Located at dining venues near the Hotel Diagonal Mar, these intimate gatherings will allow you to make new contacts or spend quality time with your colleagues. Sign-up sheets will be located at the registration desk.
Be sure to express your interest when you register. Please note that the cost to participate in these networking dinners is not included in the conference fees. Participants will be required to pay their own expenses at the time of the meal.
If you are interested, below is a list of available restaurants. To attend a dinner, select the ticket type corresponding with the resaurant of your choice, click "Register Now", and the website will walk you through the sign- up process. Individuals can meet in the Hilton Diagonal Mar lobby at 20:30 pm- transportation on own to restaurant. Dinner reservations are at 21:00pm under "Tom Anderson or TSE Networking Dinner".
Fresh seasonal produce is the essence of Els Pescadors’ cuisine. Everyday the sea and land provide the raw materials that decide what their menu will be. Their chefs buy fish as the local market, mushrooms from Osona, meat from Banyoles, and fresh duck foie gras from Coll-Verd. The dishes on the menu offer the customer both quality and quantity. The menu changes everyday depending on the fish they’ve been able to buy at the market, seasonal produce available at the time, and the new dishes invented by the executive chef. With the sea as the element of inspiration, fish is their star ingredient. At Klein, you will find a wide range of seafood cuisine created from the freshest and highest-quality produce. With a select menu composed in line with the fishing season, everyday you find special dishes that vary according to what has come into the market that morning. To accompany your meal with the best wine or cocktail, you also have the sommelier at your service, who will advise the best accompaniment for each plate and will describe the main features of every specialty.

Mondo is an exclusive, chic restaurant with a modern design and a marvelous view over the boats in Barceloneta harbor. Chef Ever Cubilla presents creative Mediterranean cuisine based upon excellent ingredients, which are carefully selected on a seasonal basis. Some menu highlights are: delicate raw Carril clams, outrageously perfect cigalas (langoustines), and espardenyes (sea cucumbers) seared, not a second too long a la plancha.There are more than 100 different varieties of international wine. Mondo also has some exceptionally fashionable and unique private rooms for guests looking for more intimacy, as well as a large outdoor terrace and guarded parking An excellent view of the harbor, mixed with pleasant music and fresh seafood, this is an indulgence worth every Euro.

Montjuic El Xalet
A second sister restaurant to Can Travi Nou, Montjuic El Xalet is newly opened in 2004. Housed in a fully restored old chalet in the heart of Montjuic and surrounded by open spaces, Montjuic El Xalet is filled with a warm Mediterranean style. A highlighted feature of Montjuic El Xalet is its large panoramic terrace and revolving room from which you can see spectacular views of the city. Offering unique and delicious Mediterranean cuisine, some menu highlights are: lollipops of foie gras, fresh cheese and apple confît, spiny lobster sautéed with fried chickpeas and coriander, beef fillet with fruity red wine and heart of foie gras, and crunchy cake with nuts and bitter chocolate. Their wine menu offers both the best of Spanish wines as well as a diverse selection of international wines.

This restaurant is located very close to the Mediterranean Sea, next to the port. Their cuisine is based on fresh fish and seafood, caught nearby and transformed into a feast for the palate. But not everything they prepare is 'surf' material. Some of their 'turf' dishes include the best quality cheese and Iberian cold meats. This restaurant is a good place to sample the full range of Spanish cuisine, with the sea just a few steps away.

Thai Gardens is a restaurant where culture and gastronomy are one. They fuse the world’s natural elements of earth, water, air, and fire into their cuisine. The chefs use only all-natural ingredients, many of which are imported weekly from Thailand. These expert chefs offer traditional Thai dishes and popular favorites alongside modern, state-of-the-art-cookery; each dish is served with Thai Gardens signature style and characteristics. Their fare includes, Kahi satee, a brochette of marinated chicken breast in coconut milk, vermicelli salad with prawns, celery and lemon, assorted curries, and Pat Thai, sautéed noodles with Soya vegetables and onion.
