This seminar/workshop provides concepts, elements and the tools used to initiate and facilitate Continuous Improvement.  ISO/QS standards require continuous improvement activities.  In this course,

  1. Managementand Facilitators responsibilities are defined.
  2. Sequenceof events for continuous improvement and the role of management and teamsare addressed.
  3. Thesessions include lectures, question and answer periods, and classexercises.

 Course content:

  • Identifying& prioritizing Continuous Improvement opportunities.
  • Teamapproach - charter - Mentor -Facilitator - members.
  • Management& Facilitator responsibilities.
  • ContinuousImprovement tools.
  • Sequenceof events for Continuous Improvement
  • Roleof Facilitator in meetings - individual & group dynamics
  • Minutes- reports and communication - decisions with management.

 Who should attend:

This course is designed for personnel involved in Continuous Improvement as Manager, Facilitator or Team Member.


Familiarity with data collection, quality tools - i.e. histograms, run/control charts, etc. will be most helpful.
