Spring RESET - January 19, 2008

Join us for an informational session for better Health in 2009!

Take the guess work out of proper nutrition and start building a lasting foundation for true health! The “Healthy for Life” program will introduce you to 3 simple lifestyle changes that can help you:

  • Shed pounds
  • Increase your energy and boost your mood
  • Detox your body
  • Reduce high carbohydrate cravings
  • Balance your hormones
  • Lower your blood pressure and cholesterol levels
  • Protect yourself against degenerative diseases
  • Look and feel great inside and out!

After the session, you can decide if you want to join the Spring RESET program.    Do a 5-day RESET program or a 6 – 12 week weight loss program.  Have fun and get plenty of support through conference calls and gatherings with additional education and healthy dinners.  Ensure you have an accountability partner - Don’t go alone – Research shows when it comes to weight loss we are more likely to succeed if we join forces with other people!

As an added incentive to shed some pounds - Pledge to support to your favorite non-profit for each pound you lose or inch you shrink!  Ask your family and friends to support your effort.

The program begins on February 1 and ends on April 24 with a celebration party with announcements of winners.

Increased waist size is associated with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and metabolic syndrome. 1 in 4 adults have metabolic syndrome and 90% don’t even know it!

Did you know that 50% of adults have metabolic syndrome, pre-diabetes, or type II diabetes? Is obesity the cause? No! Obesity is not a “cause” it is a symptom. The cause of many people’s weight gain is a hormonal imbalance called “insulin resistance.” In addition to weight gain, insulin resistance can also cause diabetes, sleep apnea, reflux, and polycystic ovarian disease.  But the most troubling complication is heart disease. Dr. Reavens of Stanford University reports that those with metabolic syndrome have a 20-fold increased risk of heart attack! Since 1 in 2 American’s are afflicted with these conditions – we invite you to join the  Spring RESET Shrink-a-Thon!
