OK, so it's not Saturday morning cartoons, but social media on Saturdays can be fun!

In order to take advantage of the tremendous power of social media, you need to start with a hands-on approach to give you to plan, the tools and the know-how to make use of these state of the art tools.  Join acclaimed social media expert, trainer, author, coach, award-winning blogger, and founder of The MarketingSavant Group, Dana VanDen Heuvel as he takes you beyond the “now what” stage of social media and gives you the skills to immediately put social media to work for you or your organization.

You know that you need to get up to speed on social media for your business or career and you know that now is the right time to do it. Perhaps you've gone to a social media seminar, or attended a webinar or even read a few books, but you would like to have had more hands on or at least more technical instruction on how to actually sett up and use the tools and sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Wordpress, etc. and get some more instruction on how to interact and make them work for you. Social Media Saturdays is unlike one-day social media events or web seminars where you try to learn everything in a day and leave with more questions than you have answers! Social Media Saturdays is a six-week, hands-on social media boot-camp for professionals who don't want to just "know" about social media, but who really want to master it.

Taught in a relaxed weekend atmosphere, Social Media Saturdays is the most thorough yet relaxed and informative series of social media classes that you'll ever attend. The limited class size and hands-on approach in a fully functional computer lab ensure that you'll leave each session with a new set of social media tools and the skills you need to make them work for you.

The six-week series provides ample time between topics and allows you to interact with the instructor in between classes to ensure that you are able to master each of the social media topics discussed before you move on to the next.

Enrollment is limited to 30 people. If you’d like to attend all 6 sessions, it’s $399 or $299 if you register by 9/18. If you’d like to attend on a per-session basis, it’s $79. Payment is required prior to attending and can be made through the course website here.

All courses will be held at Rasmussen College.

All of the classes are conducted in workshop format with equal parts instruction, hands-on and Q&A. You'll leave each class with a fully functioning set of social media tools and an effective plan for using each one! Each section will include handouts and some sections will have their own dedicated workbooks for the class.
