Project Ship Shape at Shake-A-Leg Miami

Learn to clean, maintain, and paint boats for FREE!

Register here to be a "Ship Shape" volunteer

for Shake-A-Leg Miami (SALM).

Volunteers are needed to clean, paint, and restore as many boats as possible at Shake-A-Leg Miami before Oct 11 when SALM will host a reception for marine-industry professionals who will be in Miami for the annual IBEX conference.

We also need volunteers to enhance and improve every inch of the facility and grounds including buildings, grounds, waterfront, and the island.

There are plenty of jobs for people who would rather help with public relations, event management, registration, and more.

This form will ask you to list your areas of expertise (including "newbie"), and it will ask you to state preferences for the boat, project, or job you would like the most. You will also have an opportunity to state when you will be available.

No time to volunteer, but have a great idea for making this program work? Terrific! Contact Barbara Jean Walsh at or 561-922-7220.

Ready? Click on the register button - above - to get started.

Need more information? Read the press release posted on the project's workspace or follow progress on the Ship Shape Blog.
