The Speakers


With over 20 years in the financial services industry, Marc Lamontagne, CFP, R.F.P, FMA has a broad range of knowledge and experience in the world of personal finance. He specialises in comprehensive financial planning, investment counselling, tax planning and has delivered numerous seminars and workshops across Canada and abroad.


Marc also spent 8 years as a workshop instructor, providing hundreds of Charting Your Course (CYC) financial education and pension option seminars to Nortel Networks employees.


John Read, LLB joined Beament Green upon his admission to the Bar of Ontario in 1978. He has been President of the Ottawa Medical-Legal Society, a member of the Advocates' Society and County of Carleton Law Association. John was a sessional lecturer at Carleton University Department of Law from 1977 to 1982, and has served as head of Course on Labour Law of the Bar Admission Course of the Law Society of Upper Canada. John has acted as a group leader in the Bar Admission Course, Civil Litigation section, and lectured for the Law Society of Upper Canada. John acts as counsel to various private and public sector clients in the area of civil litigation, administrative and labour law. John is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a specialist in civil litigation.
