Obama 08 Campaign Fundraiser Golf Tournament

This is an 18-hole golf tournament (scramble with best ball format) at Ramblewood Country Club in Mt. Laurel New Jersey; it is also a political fund raiser for the Obama 2008 Presidential Campaign. Registration is a 2 step process.

Step 1: Signing up on this site, the $100.00 fee covers : golf, cook-out lunch and buffet dinner. This site collects the costs for the event. Step 2: Each entrant must make a donation to the Obama Campaign. Each particpant should bring his or her receipt from a donation at the Obama for America website of an amount desired at $150 per person or more, dated after July 4, 2008. If, however, you have already contributed the maximum amount simply bring proof of that and you are still welcome to participate in the golf tournament. Since this is a political fundraiser, there are certain legal rules that apply. Each individual is limited to a total of $2300 campaign contribution for the primary election and another $2300 for the general election. Corporations cannot contribute. Senator Obama does not take contributions from political action committees either. See website for additional rules.
