North Dakota Let's Thrive Celebrations

Mark your calendar for a Let's Thrive Celebration  coming to your area in the near future.  The events are designed for Chapter Leaders and Congregational Coordinators.  Each event begins with registration at 1 pm and lasts until 4:30 pm.  You are invited to stay for an optional member reception that begins at 4:30 pm (see below).

Let's Thrive Celebrations seek to gather Thrivent Financial members together for inspiration, fun and fellowship. The creative events will help you learn more about your role as a volunteer leader in your community and recognize the efforts of our many volunteers and chapter leaders who have made important contributions to the communities they love so much.

At the celebration you can enjoy the following:

  • Learn about the history of a fraternal benefits society and the impact YOU have made locally.
  • Enjoy fellowship and conversation with other congregational coordinators and chapter leaders.
  • Share your best ideas through a project called "Let's Thrive...Wise at Heart" where we will collect and share the wisdom of Thrivent Financial volunteers.
  • Hear about the changing face of Thrivent Financial as it seeks to reach more of its members through charitable, social and educational activities.
  • Enjoy food and fellowship as we honor our members for their achievements.

You can also use this site to register for the Milestones Reception that follows the Let's Thrive Celebration at 4:30 pm .  This event is open to all Thrivent members and their guests.

Following the Let's Thrive Celebration  at Bismarck, Minot and Medora there will be a reception that will feature the Milestones Project.

This project, which includes over fifty large photographs (2' X 3') of children from throughout the world, seeks to increase understanding by identifying the common milestones that all of the world's children share, regardless of the color of their skin or the language they speak. Such simple moments as a first tooth, a first step, a birthday, or first day at school are depicted through sensitive and colorful photography. This project has won a United Nations Humanitarian Award for its excellence.

The Milestones Project and hors d'oeuvres reception, which begins a 4:30 PM, following the Let's Thrive Celebration  is open to all in the community - Thrivent members, family and friends, and members of congregations.
