Nigerian Independence Ball 2008

Nigerian Independence Ball 2008

An Open Invitation To Fellow Nigerians and Friends of Nigeria

Nigeria will be celebrating her 48th year of independence on Saturday October 4th, 2008.

An expected diversed crowd of Nigerians and their non-Nigerian friends will come together for a massive ball to be held at the Providence Hilton Plaza Hotel, located in down-city Providence, Rhode Island.

Organised by Nigerian Community of Rhode Island, this promises to be one for the books. Historically, the event celebrates the freedom and liberation of Nigeria from Great Britain, on 1 October 1960.

In Rhode Island, an estimated ten thousand Nigerians call here home! It is especially important for young United States-born Nigerians and Nigerians that have assimilated into the the American culture, to see that Nigeria has a rich heritage and culture that should be celebrated and that one can be proud of.

All organizations, churches, mosques, families, businesses, friends and associations are invited to bring their banners and members to the Parade and after parade after parade events to put us all on the map towards effective changes.

Pls call 401-368-2419 for your tickets now.
