Defining the Expected Behaviors of an Agile Leader, David Spann, President Agile Adaptive Management

How would you describe the preferred characteristics of an Agile Leader; what criteria would you use to search for or develop your firm's next Agile team lead; what are the similarities between an Agile Leader, a Community Development Coordinator and a Professional Facilitator? The answers are found in David Spann's three year research effort into the expectations of these highly collaborative roles.

David Spann is the President of Agile Adaptive Management focusing on developing leaders, teams and helping organizations transition into an Agile work environment. He hosted the first Agile Software Conference back in 2002 and was the co-host of the Executive Summits for each of the following three Agile Development conferences. He has written several Executive Reports on Agile Management and Leadership for the Cutter Consortium and has clients throughout North America. He currently resides in Cumberland, Rhodes Island but is planning on returning soon to his western roots in the
