To complete your sign-up:

  • During registration you will be referred to as a "Ticket Buyer"; rest assured this tour is free.

* Please arrive at the meeting spot by 9:50 a.m. There will be a quick check-in. Note: You may need to build in five to 15 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the meeting location (see below).
* The walk away from the meeting spot will begin at 10 a.m. sharp.
* This is a rain or shine event. Please dress in layers and for the weather.
* Optional suggested items to bring: a water bottle and binoculars. (Extra binocs are always welcome if you enjoy sharing.)

Mounds Park is located atop the bluff at Earl Street N. & Mounds Blvd. in St. Paul, just south of I-94.
Some people get turned around in this area, plus there are lots of ways to get here, so if you are not very familiar with this park, we recommend taking a moment to open this Google map created specifically for tour-goers. The map indicates each location referenced below with a blue pinpointer, and you can also use it to get directions from your personal starting point: View Mounds Park Tour Meeting Spot.
By 9:50 a.m., please meet at the overlook near Cherry Street and Mounds Boulevard. There is a parking lot at this intersection.
— If that lot is full, park in the eastern lot, which is closer to the playground and softball field, near Earl and the main park building on Mounds Boulevard. Please be aware that it is roughly a half-mile to 3/4 mile walk to the tour meeting spot at the overlook.
