Million Mutt March & WoofStock - Dallas/Fort Worth

Join us October 30th & 31st while we celebrate our Million Mutt March, WoofStock, and Howl-o-ween Paw-ty with local animal rescue groups. Both days will be full of music, laughter, games, excitement, and contests, a 5K, 1K dog walk, and yes all dogs will be doing their very own trick or treating through our Mutt Midway! Throughout the weekend, local talent will be performing on our WoofStock stage to help bring awareness to a crisis that has reached a $2 billion a year problem!  Let's come together and support our fellow animal lovers!

Why should you come?

We have an extreme passion for pets and we have a responsibility to make our communities a better place to live. If you have been following the news around this great country of ours, Americans have landed upon hard times. It is human nature to cut back on spending and giving in these tough economic times. Unfortunately, humans are not the only ones feeling the bite of the recession. Our furry friends, our family pets, our (sometimes disclosed as) children who provide unconditional love are suffering too. Current financial conditions have caused many to loose their homes and make drastic changes in current lifestyles. More and more we are seeing families having to make a choice between taking care of family and giving up the family pet. Under duress, many have had to do the unthinkable and place the care of their pet in the hands of someone else.  There are also pets that have not been fortunate to have a loving family environment. These animals are dropped off on the side of road, mistreated or live in unthinkable conditions. Whatever the reason, there is always a need for someone else  to rescue and help pets who don't have a say in the choices that their human guardians make.
