Mars Hill Outdoors Smith Rock Trip May 2008

You’ve reached the information and sign-up page for the Mars Hill Outdoors Smith Rock Climbing Trip May 2-4, 2008.  We’re looking forward to a weekend of climbing and hanging out with some great people – hope you can make it!  Please read the following for more info, and to sign up, click on the button at the top right of the page.

The Place

Smith Rock is a great place for beginning climbers on up to advanced.  Mountain biking & hiking are also available if climbing doesn’t suit your fancy.  For more info about the park see here:  We will be camping for two nights in the bivouac area, but there is a bathroom facility nearby with flush toilets, sinks and the shower facilities may be open at that time as well.

Trip Foundations

Mars Hill Outdoors is a volunteer-operated outdoors activity organization. We are made up of men and women of all walks of life who love of the outdoors and share a desire to give back to the community.  We are sponsored by Mars Hill Church

Since we are a Christian based group, we request all attendees be respectful of fellow trip attendees and those we encounter in our activities.  (Note: we especially request that those coming late to Smith Rock be respectful of those already sleeping in the camping area upon your arrival)  We also request no guy/gal tent buddies unless you’re married or it’s a father/daughter, mother/son situation.
