Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Orientation

Orientation for Transformation's Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program is an opportunity to learn more about the program that will help you to respond skillfully to life's challenges. At the orientation, you will have the opportunity to meet the instructor, to have any questions or concerns answered and to experience some of the basics of the programs.

If you are already enrolled in one of the 8-week program tracts, you are strongly advised to attend one orientation class as a precursor to the program.

Orientation dates to choose from are:
Saturday, September 13  - 10:00am - 12:00pm
Tuesday, September 16 - 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Dr. Christine Molnar is a licensed clinical psychologist receiving her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Pennsylvania State University with a focus on mind-body interconnections in people with anxiety and stress-related disorders. She has been teaching mindfulness-based interventions for over a decade.

Molly Giles Walker has been practicing and teaching yoga for 30 years. Molly has been teaching formal meditation and mindful yoga eight-week sessions for five years.

Both Chris and Molly have completed the most advanced level of formal training available for teaching Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at the world-renowned Center for Mindfulness in Massachusetts.
