Mardis Gras Party III

Mardis Gras Party III

Back by popular demand, it9s now the annual Mardis Gras celebration at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. Time to get crazy with beads, masks and Hurricanes (or the drink of your choice)

I will be adding to the collection of decorations that I have already; so, that9s even more colorful and bizarre than last year! Feel free to bring your own masks and beads if you like

King Cake

In addition to the Key Lime Pie, one of our members who is from New Orleans is making a "King Cake" which is a Mardis Gras tradition.

Basically, the King cakes are made from Jan 6th (3 Kings9 Day) until Mardis Gras. Tradition is that New Orleans9 families would "hide" something in the cake (like a peapod or even jewels). It has eventually led to people hiding a "baby" in the cake. This one will be a plastic baby. Whomever finds the "baby" would have to host the next party.

Don9t worry, I won9t make you host.

Unlimited coffee, hot tea, soda & unflavored iced tea are included in the price.

All other drinks are Cash Bar. (We will have own bar.)
