LUNAFEST Richmond 2008

WHAT: LUNAFEST ( is a fundraising film festival dedicated to promoting awareness about women9s issues, highlighting women filmmakers, and bringing women together in our community. 

WHY: One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Richmond LUNAFEST will go to the local M.I.S.S Foundation ( and the Breast Cancer Fund ( The M.I.S.S Foundation provides support and aid to local families after the death of a child.  The Breast Cancer Fund identifies and advocates for the elimination of environmental and other preventable causes for breast cancer.
