KCI Men's Breakfast with Cobus Visagie

We are pleased to have former Springbok, Cobus Visagie, as our guest speaker on the day of the first Lions test against South Africa.

About Cobus

Cobus was capped 29 caps for South Africa and was the cornerstone of the Springbok team that reached the 1999 World Cup Semi-Final.

Widely regarded as one of the best scrummagers in world rugby, he moved to the UK in 2003 to play for Saracens, retiring at the end of the season.

In 2007, he was recalled to the Springbok squad by National Coach Jake White to play in the World Cup in France, but was sadly injured in training prior to the Tri-Nations.

Before coming to the UK, he won four Currie Cups with Western Province, the last in 2001 with a home win over The Natal Sharks. He also earned 43 Super 12 caps with the Stormers. He earned the nickname 'drie' man, or three man because he played number 3 and always asked questions.

Cobus is also a businessmen and a qualified Chartered Accountant.
