"Dual Track Event"

SESSION A: “Modular Approach to Batch Automation” This approach has been successfully implemented on several automation projects from single-unit systems for equipment manufacturers to large-scale plant-wide automation efforts. The session will include discussions on the following:

  • Benefits of a Modular Approach: Consistency (Appearance, Recipe Structure, Control Logic, etc.), Ability to Re-Use Modules across process trains / areas / facilities, Reduced Validation and Testing Costs
  • Leveraging Today's Software & Tools - to develop flexible systems more efficiently
  • Modules for every level - Control Modules, Equipment Modules, and Units
  • Visibility to Batch Information - Web-based technology for reporting and analysis at the user's desktop
  • Project Examples - actual examples of batching systems, a range of facility/process type

  • Speakers: Arlene Weichert, Michael Blechman & Kevin Hannigan – Automated Control Concepts

    SESSION B: “New Jersey Construction Law – Recent Development & Current Trends” - The session will highlight and review recent statutory and case law changes and developments affecting the construction industry, and contracting and payment process for both private and public projects.

    Speakers: : Robert Hedinger, Esq. – Hedinger & Lawless L.L.C.

  • Registration begins at 4:45 p.m .

  • Buffet dinner 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. (cash bar).
  • Breakout Sessions will take place 6:00 - 7:30 p.m .

  • Coffee, tea and dessert from 7:30 – 8:00 p.m.
