UBC IRSA Explore Abroad Career Fair 2009

On behalf of the University of British Columbia's International Relations Student Association (IRSA), it is my pleasure and honour to invite your organization to attend this year's IRSA Explore Abroad Career Fair. The fair will be held on Tuesday, March 17th 2009 as an important component of UBC's 6th annual International Week.

Since 2002, International Week at UBC has been celebrated enthusiastically by the university community. It is a student-run week of entertaining and informative events focused on celebrating cultural diversity. International Week is dedicated to emphasizing global citizenship and international awareness by appealing to students from a wide variety of disciplines. International Week will consist of international guest speakers, workshops, seminars, social events, as well as multicultural events and performances. IRSA is honoured to host a Career Fair in coherence with the objectives of International Week. The week draws out a diverse student population on campus and we are expecting the usual traffic flow of 3000 students that participate in our various events.

Last year's IRSA Career Fair was a great success and we hope to create that with your partnership. This year, the IRSA Go Abroad Fair will take place on Tuesday, March 17 2009 in the North Concourse (main floor) of UBC's Student Union Building (SUB) between 10am - 4pm. Your presence at this Career Fair would be beneficial for students in the IR major and students from other disciplines that are interested in international career opportunities. If you are able to attend, we would be honoured and greatly appreciative. We are looking forward to hearing from you soon.

If you have any further questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me at career@irsa.ca or at 604-760-2275.

Thank you for your time and consideration and we hope to see you there!
