Managing Carbon Emissions for the Hospitality Industry in Hong Kong & Macau
Consumers and governments worldwide are demanding businesses pursue low-carbon path. The hospitality industry is a major contributor to carbon emissions, resulting from air travel, transportation and energy use associated with it. Many leaders in the hospitality industry are grappling with the measurement, reduction and offsetting of their carbon footprint. One important differentiator in the future for the leading hotels will be the “per room occupancy carbon emissions” (PROCE) they may attain.
In this seminar, Mr Albert Lai from HKPCSD will look at the regulatory incentive and the business case of managing carbon emissions. Mr David Mason from Supply Chain Consulting will present to you a carbon foot-printing solution, CarbonView, for managing, monitoring, and supporting your carbon audits and reporting.
Carbon Care Asia, an integrated carbon management solutions provider, will hold a breakfast meeting for leading hoteliers in Hong Kong to introduce applications and opportunities in carbon management, jointly with Carbon View.
