Funds from this celebration will support the relocation and expansion of the nonprofit Boston Hostel. Since its opening in 1983, the hostel has provided affordable accommodations for over half a million young travelers from 85 countries. A relocation of the Boston Hostel will further expand capacity, community partnerships, and civic programs. Hostelling International is excited to create a “green design” and energy-efficient hostel that is poised to welcome even more visitors to its world-class urban home of Boston.
