Please join us on Saturday, February 28th, 2009 for Louisiana's first ever paranormal convention! The event is being hosted by "Louisiana Spirits" Paranormal Investigations and will definitely be an event that you cannot miss!

Location: Shreveport Municipal Auditorium (

Time: Standard admission is 9:00am until 8:00pm (Doors open at 8:00am) Doors will reopen at 9:00pm for VIP Ticket holders ONLY and will officially end at approximately 3:00am.

Standard Admission: $50 per person and includes:

This is an extremely good deal taking in account all of the extras that you will receive. If you purchase this package, please make sure to note what size t-shirt you will need, otherwise an XL will be ordered by default.

Payment Methods: We accept credit card payments through paypal. You do not need an account to purchase tickets, simply enter your card information via the secure server. We will sell tickets at the door, however if you do purchase at the door, lunch WILL NOT be included in your admission. This is to avoid a shortage with the caterers.

John Zaffis: John has over thirty years of experience studying and investigating the paranormal. He has had the opportunity to work for and with his aunt and uncle, Ed and Lorraine Warren. This sent John beyond looking for ghosts and hauntings and into studying demonology under the Warrens. This led into John's involvement with cases of possession and exorcism and working with prominent exorcists in this field. His research has taken him throughout the United States, Canada, England and Scotland covering several thousands of cases. Through hands on investigating with other investigators and clergy, he has obtained a great deal of knowledge and understanding of the paranormal and is considered one of the foremost authorities in the field today. John has been featured in the Discovery Channel's documentaries A Haunting in Connecticut and Little Lost Souls. John has also appeared on Unsolved Mysteries, Fox News Live, and many other print and news media events. John is also in the books of Ed and Lorraine Warren

Bob Hunnicutt: Director of the Georgia Ghost Society, Bob has years of experience in the paranormal and has worked with some of the biggest names in the hobby. Featured on numerous programs and in countless publications, Bob will lecture on his theories in the paranormal.


Loyd Auerbach: Loyd is a professor of parapsychology and a prominent field investigator in psychic phenomena. He is an accomplished professional mentalist and psychic entertainer, performing as Professor Paranormal before private and corporate groups. He served as President of the Psychic Entertainers Association for four terms from 2001-2005. Loyd is known for writing some of the most respected paranormal books in the hobby, such as "The Parapsychologist Handbook."

Kristyn Gartland: Kristyn is one of the stars of the hit Sci-Fi channel show "Ghost Hunters" and a proud TAPS member. Kristyn will be presenting her very popular "Paranormal 101" course, educating beginners and veterans alike in the field of paranormal investigating.

Pete Haviland: President and Lead Investigator of Lone Start Spirits. Peter is a trained and certified clinical hypnotherapist that has, through the course of investigation and study, applied hypnosis to his client work dealing with poltergeist phenomena in residential cases. Through interview and observation Peter has been able to forensically locate traumatic events and stress triggers on a client, place a positive model in its place and has been successful at having haunting cease. He believes that we create a lot of our phenomena through our experiences and family unit issues. There are influences that can cause place memory (Residual Haunting) and Intelligent Hauntings and these are looked at by a combination of historical research, technical evaluation and medium information to connect as much of the three points to validate the haunting activity.

Dan Mewhinney: Founder of SoCal Paranormal and is well versed in educating the general public in evp recording techniques. Being evp magnets, he and his wife consistantly record class A evp’s from the spirit world. Together they have the largest collection of class A evp’s nationwide. Well versed in protocols and procedures, they also help assist groups on investigations as evp specialists, helping them to record there own evp’s from the spirit world. This is a popular subject and a benefit for everyone who attends. You will enjoy a great presentation by Dan and Sandi, showcasing some of the most amazing EVP's ever captured!

Gina Vega: Gina is extremely experienced in the practice of Haitian vodou and is a native of New Orleans. She was awarded for her immense passion for the religion in 2007, when she was initiated as a Mambo (Vodou Priestess) at Ashade Meadows, which is historically the first actual peristyle (temple) in the United States. Gina is a member of La Source Ancienne Hounfo, a group led by Papa Edgard Jean Louis of Haiti who has been an Hougan (priest) for aproximately 70 yrs. Gina will captivate you with stories of her experiences in the religion, including daily practices, ceremonies, and even possessions!
Kalila Smith: Kalila is a world-renown expert on voodoo and the paranormal. Kalila has been featured nation-wide on numerous television programs regarding the lore and legend of Louisiana. In addition, Kalila is a successfully published author and will be selling some of her books!
