Helping Those In Need

Proceeds from the event will benefit Northwest Assistance Ministries [NAM].  We will also be collecting gently-used clothing and a free-will offering for the organization. NAM is a nonprofit, community-based, multi-program social services organization serving individuals and families in the greater Houston area. 


Yvonne DeanYvonne started with Aid Association for Lutherans in 1995 as a District Representative. She moved to a Divisional Sales Director position in April of 1998, and in August of 2002, she became a Regional Vice President-Investments with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.   Then, in 2006, she moved to VP of Trust and Investment Services with Thrivent Financial Bank.  In her current role as a Partner, she provides leadership within the state of Texas through recruiting and launching new Financial Associates.  She also mentors and coaches veteran advisors to help them take their practice to the “next” level.  She is a national speaker on several financial planning topics.  



Yvonne is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®), and a member of the Women in Insurance and Financial Services Association, General Agents and Managers Association [GAMA], and the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counselors.


Yvonne holds a B.A. from Siena Heights University with a minor in management. She is also FINRA registered and holds Series 6, 7, 63 and 66 licenses, and also holds life and health insurance licenses in Texas.


Yvonne serves as a commissioner on the Disciplinary and Ethics Commission for the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.  She is a member of the board of directors for Lutherhill Ministries, the Corporate Partners Committee for Women in Insurance and Financial Services, and is past vice president of the Niles Adult Literacy Council.  She is a past volunteer leader for Relay for Life, Berrien County Youth Fair, Habitat for Humanity, and March of Dimes “Walk America”.


Yvonne is married to James “Andy” Dean, and they attend Kinsmen Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas.  Together, Yvonne and Andy show horses and mentor children with special needs by providing them opportunities to ride and interact with horses.
