8th Annual Urban Teenage Girl of Faith Conference

How To Deal With Hamanika

Temple University Student Center-Underground

1755 N 13th Street, Phila, PA  19122

Let's face it. It's tough to be a Christian teenage girl. Sugar and spice and all that's nice? Not quite. The truth is that (Hamanika's) Mean Girls are everywhere - even in your own youth group, school, or family. Take a closer look. It is very likely that girls in your group have either been victims of Mean Girls or are Mean Girls themselves. The victims may be those who feel unpopular or unliked, while the Mean Girls are those who love to spread rumors, fight over the smallest things, tease, and torment.

The 2008 Esther Girls event is a one day conference for urban Christian teenage girls in your church, youth ministry or small group. Together, teen girls will discover why Mean Girls, like "Hamanika" act the way they do, what God thinks about Mean Girls, and strategy Esther used to overcome them. Teen girls will learn how to find and build new, healthier relationships and become a catalyst of change within their  community
