In 2006, the conference will be held at the recently built headquaters of the prestigious RNLI Lifeboat College in Poole, Dorset. This year we have lined up a great mix of speakers to educate, stimulate and enthuse you in your chosen career path. We also have some great practical learning experiences (early booking advised!) and a fun evening social programme.Thursday includes local consultants from Wessex as well as the academic posters & presentations. Please email any abstracts by 31st August to emta2006@yahoo.com The Careers Fair on Friday brings together over 20 organisations including NGO's such as VSO, Medecins Sans Frontieres and MERLIN as well as career advice and EM stalls on subspecialty training, Pre-Hospital Care/HEMS etc. Don't miss it! The conference ends with the AGM and elections for the national committee. Please consider standing for the available posts including that of 'President.' Why not also consider spending the weekend at the Lifeboat College and exploring the beautiful county of Dorset ? There is a major national windsurfing festival going on at the same time, so if you are into watersports, don't forget your wetsuit.
