Coffee With Friends: Flammability of Landscape Mulches, 12 noon


Ed Smith, University of Nevada Cooperative Extension natural resource specialist, will present his latest research on the flammability of landscape mulches. Mulches are an important landscaping component, yet some mulches can increase fire risk. Ed’s findings will enable you to choose which mulches to use and determine where they are best used in the landscape to reduce fire risk. This seminar is part of Nevada’s Wildfire Awareness Week.
