Austin FCC Chinese New Year Banquet 2006

Austin Families with Children from China celebrates the Year of the Dog on Saturday, February 4, at Akins High School, 10701 S. 1st St, Austin, beginning at PROMPTLY AT 5 p.m. with entertainment and election of the 2006 officers in the Performing Arts Theater (park in back near the cafeteria and follow the signs to the theater).Tickets for the banquet must be purchased prior to January 29, and can ONLY be purchased by Austin FCC members for their families or guests. You must pay your 2006 dues in order to purchase tickets. (New members, please go to and download the membership application as well so we can get all of your information.)If you prefer to send a check, please mail to Suzanne Danuser, 5400 Mountain Cedar Cove, Austin, TX 78731. Once the deadline for ticket sales has passed, no more tickets will be available so that we may provide our caterer with final numbers.Your confirmation email is your "ticket."New this year!!!!Due to several requests for professional portraits of our children in their traditional Chinese outfits, FCC has arranged for Larry Weinstein, photographer and FCC-Houston dad, to take photos at this event. You can see samples of Larry's recent FCC Houston photo session at Due to time and space limitations, ONLY CHILDREN will be photographed at this event. A limited amount of appointments are available. If you would like to have your children photographed, please email JoAnn Stringer at by January 20. Include the names of your children and if they are to be photographed individually or together. The package Larry is offering is three 5 x 7s, four 4 x 5s and eight wallets for $68.95 including tax and shipping. Checks only.
