Join Us!
Members of OpenStreetMap (OSM), the non-profit organization working to map every corner of the world and protect the data from restrictive licenses and fees, invite you to participate in the first annual citywide mapping party on October 16-18, 2009. During the Mapathon, volunteers will be working together to map their communities and add features like cafes, shops, parks, bike lanes, trails and all the other amenities that make Atlanta special to OSM. This event also marks the launch of the Atlanta Mapping Initiative, a collaborative effort to make the City of Atlanta the most mapped American city on, the free wiki world map.
