AI User's Group Conference - Integrity Management Division

Omni Southpark Hotel – February 22 -- 25, 2010

We will be holding the 2010 American Innovations Integrity Management Steering Committee & User’s Group conference at the Omni Southpark Hotel in Austin, Texas from February 22 - 25th. This meeting with be held concurrently with AI’s Field Data Division User’s Group.

We have a substantial rooming block at the Omni, but since we cannot predict our total number of attendees, we encourage you to make your reservation as early as possible as the block is filing quickly as the event date approaches.  Attendees who sign up before January 31st, 2010 will receive the negotiated, discounted rate of $195/night (for one person, excluding taxes and fees). After that date, the prevailing rate of $205/night (for one person, excluding taxes and fees) will apply.  Please note that rate includes meals and entertainment (which is why it is more expensive than pricing you might see on hotel websites).

Those attendees not staying at the hotel but taking part in the meeting will be subject to a day fee of $120 (excluding tax) per day per person. If you choose to stay off site or attend only for the day, you will need to pay that fee. The form is at the end of this document.

Meeting Information:

At the AI Integrity Management Division User’s Group, you’ll join your peers and industry experts in interactive sessions, where you’ll gain solutions to your challenges and discover how other companies like yours are using our products.  You’ll interact with other customers as well as American Innovations staff to share technical ideas and exchange information, and it’s your chance to offer feedback to AI staff on new products and capabilities that you’d like to see in the future.

How to Register and Make Your Hotel Reservation:

1. Register online at EventBrite (here).

**If you are a day attendee (not staying at the Omni), please fill out the Day Attendee form ($120/day) you received with your invitation via email and provide payment information.  Note: If staying at the Omni, all the users group events and training are free.**

2.  Call the Omni Southpark Hotel to make your reservation at 512-383-2621. Inform the person with whom you are speaking that you are part of the American Innovations Group.  Remember to register to be part of the “Select Guest” program in advance so that you will get your internet service for free during your stay.

Please note:

Reservations must be made through Omni directly, not through an internet or other travel service.  This is a special negotiated rate that includes meals and breaks.  Registration and rooming lists are regularly compared to make sure those attending the conference are included within the correct block.  Reservations made in any other fashion resulting in pricing different than this will not include meals or entertainment, and AI will require that you pay the day fee of $120/day on top of the reservation.

The negotiated, discounted rate per night is $195/night (for one person, excluding taxes and fees) during the conference dates.

The rate includes:

Tues. 2/23 – Continental breakfast, lunch, dinner and breaks

Wed. 2/24 – Continental breakfast, lunch, breaks

Thurs. 2/25 – Continental breakfast, lunch off site for event participants

We are planning on a reception on Monday evening (2/22), Casino night on Tuesday evening and a trip to Esther’s Follies Comedy Show in downtown Austin on Wednesday evening (2/24). All events are free for attendees.

After January 31st, 2010 the rate increases to $205/night.  If you are planning on attending the meeting, activities and/or meals but are not staying at Omni Southpark, there is a hotel day fee of $120/day.

If you are a day attendee only, please fill out the attached Day Attendee Form and send it to Michelle Womack at or fax to 303-948-0479.   You do not need to call Omni unless you are staying overnight.  If you are bringing your spouse or partner to stay and they plan on eating meals and participating in events, the $120 day fee will apply.

Note: Cancellations must be made with Omni Southpark 72 hours in advance

Special Events on Thursday Feb. 25th:

  • Golf Tournament: AI will have a golf scramble for those who would like to participate.  In typical scramble format, each player in a team will tee off, then select the best shot and play from that point on.  Teams will be selected based on reported handicaps.  Please indicate your interest on the registration form attached, and we will contact you with further details.  There is no charge to play in the golf tournament.
  • Allegro Field Trip:  Steve Hamblin and Christopher Shawhan will be conducting an Allegro Field Trip.  Details are currently being determined. Please indicate your interest on the registration form attached.
