AAF Metro Phoenix April Lunch

Please join us  for our April lunch  and presentation on New Product Launch: Surviving and Thriving in Challenging Times with guest speaker, Jeff Ficker, Managing Editor, McMurry.

As managing editor at McMurry, Jeff Ficker is responsible for Amtrak’s Arrive and The Ritz-Carlton magazines. He is part of the Custom Media business unit at Phoenix-based McMurry.

Jeff will showcase a business model for The Ritz-Carlton magazine. He will also share the process of launching McMurry’s newest enterprise, 6; a custom media solution developed to connect ultra-affluent Americans with extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime experiences and luxury brand advertisers with a database of ultra-affluent Americans.

Product development for 6 took nearly two years and promised to deliver the purest upscale audience ever. The magazine, in conjunction with the rich, multimedia website experience6.com, was designed to immerse consumers in a full sight, sound and motion preview of six ultimate experiences available for purchase, allowing consumers to live out what they’ve read about and explored.

In the best of times, convincing advertisers to try something new is a challenge. With the current economy, and universally reduced spending, what is the future of 6? Join Jeff as he takes us on the journey of idea generation, market exploration, business model development, go-to-market strategies and product launch.
