2009 BDPA High School Computer Academy and Competition Kick-Off

What is the HSCC Academy
This academy is designed to introduce students in the 8th - 12th grades to Information Technology and its various uses. Students will have the opportunity to participate in 3-hour training sessions each Saturday from February to May to learn in-depth topics such as Web Development, Application Development, Database Design, and Database Development.

2009 National HSCC Competition - August 5 – August 8
The Charlotte HSCC Academy is open to all Charlotte area students in grades 8 through 12. Upon completion of the Charlotte HSCC Academy, five exceptional students will be selected to represent Charlotte in the National HSCC competition, with the top 5 teams receiving scholarships from $3000-5000. Charlotte BDPA will be covering all cost for the National Conference Competition Team

• Enrollment Fee for the Charlotte HSCC Academy is $50 per student.
• Scholarships and Financial Aid are available based on need.
